Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I've never noticed a difference between reg and generic.
If you aren't already, you may wish to try the usual things for reflux as well. sleeping up higher, either by raising the bed or being on pillows (doesn't work quite as well but better than nothing).... drinking no hot, caffeine or soda at all after about 6 hrs before bed. In fact eating and drinking nothing but water for the last 2 yrs before bed. Avoiding foods that loosen the sphincter like chocolate, ice cream, greasy food. Just some thoughts, if you're already on the case and doing it, my apologies.
