Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
1. Lower your acidic diet profile
2. Take ppi's (according to modern medicine doc now 2 x daily)
3.Get on balanced fluids including water
4. Comence is taking pine nut oil which I am going to try...swears by it
5. Reduce stress
6. You may even try an anti inflammatory diet like Dr. Neil's. I have eliminated dairy and gluten and lowered my sad rate by 3 points because of
7. Begin with bland diet like b.r.a.t. diet but can eventually work your way back to, imo, to normal diet once recovered to a point
8. Use probiotics...huge difference for me. Doc prescribed vsl#3...you can look it up. It's supposed to put back that protective good bacteria layer into your g.i. syste., but note this 100x normal store bought and is a medical superior
9. You can try other natural remedies..i am exploring dgl..a licorice, l glutamine, slippery elm, oregano oil (I've used with small success), and even Matula tea or Manuka honey...its on my list to buy.
19. Keep a notebook of what you've tried, what's worked, etc.
