Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

Thanks for your reply, I'm sorry you are in so much pain too. I just wasn't sure if gastritis was like this. I guess it is.
Take care
Seems like the meds are not helping and I don't know if it's chronic
I believe it got started by h pylori and the awful antibiotics. Some of the symptoms I didn't have until going through the treatment..
Thanks for being there and I hope you are doing well.
Best of luck and let us know how you go at the GI
best is to google Thai fisherman's pants. soooo comfy. At least when I lost all my weight I could carry on with most of my normal clothes. I've been addicted to them for years now. Winter or summer I'm wearing them.
Cas
I go back to my GI doc on Monday and hope he will give me some different meds to try and not some scary test. He is uncertain about where my gastritis (he just calls it inflammation).is coming from. I think it might be from the h pylori and the treatment for it that is very harsh.
Going to have to look up those Thai fisherman pants they sound great.
Hope you are all doing well and will continue to get better. This is a great site, everyone here is so nice and supportive. Glad I found you.
