Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

no nausea!

thought it was too good to be true. Two days feeling comparatively normal and the nausea has slapped me in the face again. Came on at the same tine again. Is this because i expect it i wonder

Terri, we are very similar aren't we? Did you eat anything different or take less meds? I have a very similar post (as you know) where I was optimistic as I felt normal and then...bam...nausea was back. I hope it's short lived and you feel better again. I had a "good" weekend and even ate out yesterday for lunch. So am almost expecting a bad day to show itself again.

Hi Lu. Took the same amount of medication and didnt eat anything out of the ordinary. You will have to let me know how you feel after your weekend.

Crazy isn't it? Often there is nothing different that sets it off. Makes it hard to control when we're eating what we always eat and same meds.
Hope today is better.

Hello Guys

I found with my nausea , the food wasnt the main issue ... it was my head. I would start stressing if I go more than 24 hours without feeling horrendous... then surprise surprise I start feeling ill. Gastritis knock me physically with weight loss and pain and nausea... but it knocked me mentally so so bad. I still am reeling from the effects mentally, although physically I am pretty much healed .
