Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
However saying that... I can tolerate a single infrequent cup of tea without problems... By infrequent I mean once every few months if I ended up in some social situation where there would be no other option, but to smile & drink up the godforsaken cup of tea...
I drink rooibos (redbush) tea several times a week though. That gives me the same "ahhhhh... nice" feeling as a cup of tea now!
Caffeinated teas are a no-no, and I miss Earl Grey sometimes.
