Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
you certainly have your share of health issues. The best thing for gastritis is sticking to a bland diet, eating small meals frequently. Maybe check out the post dietary assistance. I take a probiotic and slippery elm and am slowly improving. I've had gastritis for 10 months now.
Have a read and feel free to ask anything else.
I just started a newbie thread that got a lot of great responses. I suggest you check it out. I'm just learning about all of this, myself.

Be well.
Hang in there. I know right now things are frightening, but as you advance in getting your diet under control and begin your treatment of choice, slowly things will start to get easier. Until then, remember to take it one day at a time. Best wishes.
