Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
For now maybe ditch the coffee altogether. Sadly there is no one fix diet with gastritis. Are you eating smaller meals more frequently? This is a good place to start.
Try keeping a food diary to learn you safe and unsafe foods.
Both can be found on Amazon.
I'd suggest starting with Gastromend and seeing if you have a notable improvement in a week or two. Watch out for potential constipatory effect, but it's only a hazard if you already have constipation from something else.
Drop coffee completely. Avoid tomatoes, bell peppers, grapes, apples, orange juice, ketchup, that sort of thing.
Consider finishing a meal with Farmer's Cheese (TVOROG) with sugar sprinkled for edibility. It is a natural antacid and probiotic and over the course of several weeks it helped me stabilize.
