Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I’ve been frantically trying to discover the root of my nausea since August 24 2017. It’s debilitating and undiagnosed and frustrating. I do have acute chronic gastritis that i took Prilosec for, did nothing, now on dexilant and it’s notndoing anything. Additionally sibo but those symptoms never trigger nausea. I got treated for that but can’t retest to see if it’s gone until after dexilant. Regardless. What I’ve noticed is. I have morning nausea and it subsided after like 4-5 hours. I keep a dull nausea all day but it’s intense in the morning. It happens as soon as I actually stand up and my bowels get triggered. It seems to take multiple morning bowel movements until I feel has bubbles and the intensity resolves. Has anyone experienced that or have any insight? I’m desperate. It’s affected my life but it’s now really getting my career that I worked hard for. Any opinion advice or help is welcomed!!!!

I can totally appreciate where you are coming from. At first I thought it might be the probiotics causing it but then I remembered I was having nausea in the morning prior to taking them. In fact, Today was the first time I have thrown up since being diagnosed in January 2018. I feel better since throwing up but not sure if I should attempt eating. All new symptom to try to figure out....
