Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
anyone else deal with constant nausea? I am feeling beyond frustrated with it. Some days it goes away about mid day after I eat breakfast and lunch, but other days it is very persistent. I have noticed some of the other symptoms have gone, like the constant pressure in my back and burning in my stomach, but the nausea is the absolute worst part of this. Just wanting to know if the fact that the other symptoms are much less, and experiencing nausea as my main symptom, if that may be a sign that I’m healing? It’s been several months with gastritis and I’m feeling very discouraged.
But if your other symptoms, like the burning in your stomach are gone maybe you are getting better. It just seems like there are good days and bad days with gastritis. are you taking any medicine?
