Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I am still getting very bad flare ups and pain. I have found out from my last endoscopy that it is bile reflux gastritis. The only thing I was given to help it is sucralfate. The sucralfate does not do anything really. I have started to take slippery elm powder in warm water but at the moment it is still flaring up. I wanted to take Aloe Vera juice with it but I have been told that it is not safe for the stomach in a forum. What do you think? I have tried some supplements such as Pepzin GI and L glutamine with probiotics. Whatever I take I still get very painful flare ups. What combinations of natural supplements do you take? I am hoping that something works. Doctors here in England do not seem interested in bile reflux gastritis at all.
But then again Gastromend HP has these ingredients already.
One heals, the other cements the healing and makes it not so easy to lose progress.
