Hey everyone, i have been suffering from gastritis for about a year now. My symtoms are mostly nausea bloating , fullness , gassy etc i have zero heart burn or pain (only wind pain). I had a baby last july and hence breastfeeding i took ibufouren for short about of time then to paracetomal. I also came down with flu on november and took more painkillers etc. This is the reason why i think i may have developed gastritis. After the flu i was starting to realise i had little appetite along with anxiety and my attack happend when i took a fish oil andd d4 supplement one night for my wrists tendonitits. Around 4 hours later i was shaking out with nausea and unwell. I got better then another attack happened soon after that when i went out for meals i would wake up ready to throw it all back up but i got better again. I was hit by a vomiting bug in my house new years eve and thats when it went down hill.  I somehow recovered after that but about a week after i was  unable to eat without feeling so so sick. after 5 weeks of constant sickness and motilium and semetil (anti nausea meds) i lost 1 stone and didnt have the energy to walk down the street. I had to take time off work and droped my kid to daycare as i was unable to look after her most of the time. A diet change and supplement regime helped me heal my stomach for now i have good days and bad days. I have got blood tests done and stool tests done, alergy test done but all okay. I got my endoscopy done recently and was diagnosed with mild gastritis. no H ployri and my nutironists suspects lil bit of leaky gut. for those who are going through hell atm here are my tips. Foods not for everybody but if you were as sick as i was u will try anything. I am not cured but have come along way but it is managable. currently on second dose of anti acids. the first didnt work.

Foods

Buckwheat (cook it like porridge, strain then heat again with lil almond milk) with any berries maple syrup if u like

buckwheat pasta. turkey.chicken.lean beef.fish.green veggies.bananas.Avo(smallamounts)GF bread if your sensitive.rice .Quinoa

snacks:rice cakes.popcorn. eggs . applesauce

cook all veggies!!!!!!

i dont eat:

red peppers.greasy foods.heavy creamy sauces.tofu soy.battered foods.deep fried.(altough chips fries are ok)dark chocolate. ber arefull with coffee!

supplements

slippery elm bark/marshmallow root(soak and drink)puts a lining on stomach

aloevera drink

probiotics

take multivitamin 

small dose of d4 if u can handle the oil

if also started drinking small amounts of raw cabbage juice. Will let ye guys know if any improvements over the few weeks. ps its STINK!!
