Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
1) Yes, it takes time so you have to learn to deal with that issue.
2) If your doc did some tests and says that is what you have, relax and go with it.
3) Stress is a killer and it's very easy to stress over health issues that seem odd.
4) Don't Google any symptoms. You will be dying, I guarantee it.
You really have to relax and go with it. There's a lot of great information on this board about some diet plans that work, natural "medicines" that work for some, and people who have gotten past this.
If I could give one piece of advice though it would be to spend time learning to relax and get rid of any stress related to this or otherwise. Oh, and once you start feeling more normal, stick with your eating plan. I fall back to bad habits every time and it just delays the process.

Thanks a lot for your kind and comforting words. I agree with your thoughts.. Thanks for reassurance!
From last 2 days, I'm on tender coconut water, 2 banana, 1lb papaya, 2 boiled egg,. I observed my pain has reduced by 50 %. But when I take rice and lentil, my abdominal pain increases. I'm scared to try new type of food as I'm scared it will increase my pain. Also my weight has gone down by 8lbs in last 2 months..
I'm not sure what diet plan to follow and I'm scared to experiment new food..
Thanks
