Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
have you tried porridge or oats (cooked with water)? you know if you are not eating much, it makes the symptoms worse. its a vicious cycle.
porridge is easily digestible and the porridge soup can heal the stomach lining. Try it.
Oats are not easily digestible but it is still easier on the stomach then cheese and yogurt.
best of luck!
Had this more mild about 15 yrs ago, always seemed to be after busyness and stress along with using Tylenol with codeine or an anti-inflammatory for pain. Naproxen was known to be bad for stomach, then was more common for people to use Ibutrophen, which also has hist of stomach problems. I have to stay away from acids and eat an alkaline diet, but for now both you and I can hardly eat anything. If you want to keep in touch, pls send me a message.
