Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
It's always tempting for all of us to try to look ahead, and sometimes all we see is the worst case scenario. "What if's" are so easy, at least there are for me!
Keep after your doctor until you get some good answers--that's what their job is. And we have to try to be patient with this even though it is SO hard. As someone said, baby steps are sometimes the best way to go with this. Keep chipping away at your questions and problems and I believe the answers will begin to appear.
I am still praying for you and for all here. Stay strong, and keep after your doctor. Best wishes.
It's got to be a combined effort of expertise from the Doctor and mainly whatever we can do to help ourselves in terms of our diet, positive attitude, natural treatments etc.
