Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

Tomorrow Im taking my 12h flight to Europe from LA.Do you think they will let me bring in my own food(like a sandwich,granola etc).Ive checked the airline menu and they don't really serve anything I could eat at this point except maybe mashed potatos.All the meats are fried:(Anyways I figured it shouldn't be that bad since its an overnight flight.Still I just want to avoid hunger pangs

Go to your airlines website. It will have a section of what you can and or cannot bring on board. Also the TSA has a list, but I would check both sites and call the airline if your still not sure.

I've flown out of LAX and been able to bring dry foods with me, no gluten for me. I can't remember if you can only bring food on board bought past the security check points. But an international flight might be different. Good luck.
