Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Is there anything else I can do? or should I just keep on the regimen on your website for a few days and see what happens?
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it .
The sooner the acid gets reduced effectively the better chance you have of healing this more quickly.
i'll stick with pepcid. Likewise pepzin gi seems to help but not sure if the brand i'm using is good i ordered from amazon the brand is Endurance Products...maybe its fake and i have placebo effect because dr. best and swanson irritate my stomach !
What kind of things do you eat that heal you and are soothing at the moment i have oatmeal and potatoes potatoes work best carrots even better especially in the nutribullet and boiled for an hour, they both coat my stomach really good but can't live on those foods I'd die from malnutrition. Have you tried TVOROG as shihonage says? I tried it and i think it helps kind works like tums but its food, have you tried milk I am thinking of trying cow milk it would work better for me I think.
For different reasons I have to reduce acid and that was the medical advice I received.
My foods are currently: eggs,potatoes,oatmeal,carrots.
Rice....sometimes its ok sometimes triggers a super huge flare up.
