hi my name is danny im 48 years young, ive just been diagnosed with gastritis it all started with ache in stomach and under ribs so after several visits to doctors and lots of gastro resistant tablets then told it could be ibs after 4 months of this i ask to have endoscopy which is when i was diagnosed with gastritis, great so back to doctors for help to be then told sorry theres nothing more we can do for you so now feeling more stressed and dont know what way to turn i started to research and come across this forum after reading some q and a ive cut back on lots of nice food and drink, im now only drinking plain water and coconut water and eating plain food ive also bought pepzin gi and i take gaviscon mint tablets, can anyone help with what else i can drink and eat as im so confused,

ive seen ppi mentioned alot but not sure what that is?
