Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
first switsch from 40 to 20mg of the PPI for a month.
Then switch do Pepcid for some time to avoid the rebounce effect!
Many thanks for your comments, I have stopped taking the peppermint oil and my nausea is kept under control now.
thanks for the Phayzyme and Gas X recommendation. I might not be able to find it in my country but i'll try.
your comments and Sara's comments really helped in strengthening my resolve to throw away all 5 packets of perppermint oil capsule from the doctor. I did raise my worry to the doctor but he brushed it aside. So much for expert advice.
