Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

I'd be lost without this group. Thanks for your words of encouragement. Each day I will get a little stronger. I'm going to see my family for three weeks and they are getting their TLC ready.
I have IBS too, on top of a missing gallbladder, so I empathize and sympathize. Slowing down my pace of life and taking time out to meditate helps me.
Is it some foods you eat that causes the flare ups, like gastritis does.
I'm glad to hear you are on the mend.
Also, I swear by iberogast, it really keeps the food moving. I use after my 3 main meals.
Horrid stabbing pains around the lower back and backside. I can feel very hot and light headed if I'm constipated at any time.
These are the worst of all my pains.
For the most part I'm pain free. Mornings will be my worst if the IBS is playing up.
So I take MOM to open my bowels. My natrupath dr said MOM is the safest and best laxative to take because of the magnesium in it, which lubricants the inner bowels.
What are your thoughts.
I do use Iberogast at least twice a day to help things moving.
