Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I suspect it will be nothing more than mild gastritis.
Let us know how it goes.
I'm European by background and bread is life... I did cut it down to minimum, since I find that I get really really bloated if I eat it these days. I think it has more to do with the PPI and not enough acid than intolerance, I was tested and I'm not gluten intolerant. I will try your advice and cut it out, though. I will do anything at this point! I got better a few weeks ago and then quickly went back downhill with a few missteps (chili, coffee.. how dumb!!!)
I heard about Domperidone, I have a prescription for it, actually, but havent tried it yet.
