Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Zantac 150 every 8 hours was my recommendation if "Zantac 225 every 12 hours doesn't quite work". Because intake 3 times a day is not ideal.
Nonetheless, 150x3 is the regimen I've been on the most, and it's the one that works for me the best. Even after I kinda lost a year to Pepcid and upped my H2 blocker tolerance needlessly by doing that.
Chances are, you'll experience inevitable ups and downs, but the stomach always has its reasons, and we can establish cause-and-effect relationship with it, which removes the sense of unpredictability and gives us back control of our lives.
