Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

i am so depressed dealing with gastritis especially being that im from louisiana certain thing i love i cant eat i m too scared to leave the house because of the things ive been dealing with my vision goes blurry and my eyes are always burning and i often find myself crying or worrying i just want a normal life again lord please help me !!!

Hi only1nesha,
just wondering have you had an endocopy to comfirm the gastritis?I have been dealing with this horrid condition for 14 months..but after almost giving up I am feeling a lot better, Still get discomfort each day, but getting there and waaaay better than I was at the start. What other symptoms do you get? any stomach burning or aching? are you on any meds?Don't worry you WILL get better it just takes a while . Praying for everyone :)

boobear no i havent i went to the er and they did every test that you can only imagine except that one maybe i should ask my healthcare provider to try this test

U have too see a gastrologist not the ER. They only give u a hefty bill only to be told there is nothing wrong. A gastrologist can give u an endoscopy and colonoscopy and determine what the root cause is from there.

Does anyone know if their gastritis is caused by hpylori? I had it for a long long time and didn’t realize what it was, and now I have reactive gastrophy (same symptoms as gastritis) but I want to know if I will get better. I’m so devastated by this.

Guys plze suggest me...I suffer from erosive gastritis last two months ...today I'm getting slow increasing heartbeat fullness stommach and discomfort ...is it normal or showing other symptoms?
