Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I don’t have any suggestions on diet. I am learning myself what I can eat and not eat.
For me the desire to eat has been almost non-existent
I have been feeling the stomach pains and nausea.
When I have tried to eat I get maybe 3 bites in and I am full and nausea sets in with a lot of belching.
About the only thing I have been able to tolerate without any issues is Drink Yogurt.
I sure hope you find some relief soon.
Did your doctor prescribe any medications while you wait for your endoscopy?
