Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
When I first got gastritis I couldn't even move for ages after eating. Living alone at the time talking wasn't much of an issue but I believe anything can cause an issue.
I should definitely stop talking while eating! I couldn't do that either when my gastritis was so bad at the beginning. But now more than half a year later, it has become much better and I am not that strict with myself anymore. I should go back to my old routine and not do anything after and while eating!
For the longest time, I've actually found that I will feel decent until I get up and move around.
