Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Glad you're able to eat it.
I was fine. I've been sneaking in a teaspoon of instant coffee into my morning chicory drink (the "fake" coffee) for the past couple of weeks with no bad results.
The shocking part is that I didn't like the real coffee at all. How did I drink this stuff?? I poured out the first cup and made another one, happy that I
my fancy Italian coffee machine was in use again. Still tasted bad.
Then the caffeine hit and took me into orbit. My anxiety shot up and my chest tightened up - and I had maybe 1/4 of a cup, if that, diluted with lots of milk. Didn't have a very good evening because of it.
An unexpected turn of events, for sure...
Have been to chicken to try coffee. I drink tea. I use to miss coffee ice cream until coconut became flavour de jour.
