Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
There are other ones out there, too.
That would probably give you some possibilities of what you may have and if you see something you think is likely, you could go to a support group for it and see if the people there are experiencing what you are.
My daughter has Irritable Bowel Syndrome and her symptoms sound suspiciously similar to yours.
Also, I notice on a prescription medication ad on TV, they're now addressing a sub-type of it and referring to it as 'IBS-D' -- which means Irritable Bowel Syndrome that causes increased diarrhea.
You might want to look for a support group specifically for IBS and see if it sounds like that's what's going on with you.
I think that would be a good starting place!
I know what you mean about about finding others going through the same thing (although a diagnosis is always good, too!!!)
I wish you the best of luck!
anything. Sometimes can't. Many are the same. Don't let fear of pain get to you. You can take pain and learn how to deal with that when it happens. Just learn what "is you" in this context. You will! Good luck!
