Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I've been drinking Aloe Vera juice for a few days, cutting my prilosec pills from 2 to 1 a day (against dr's orders) and taking probiotics for a few days also.
Yesterday I had a shingles vaccine and today I have diarrhea. That is one of the side effects of the vaccine, but now wondering if it has anything to do with the 3 changes I've made this week.
I never have this kind of diarrhea. No stomach pains with it.
Anyone experience this with the vaccine?

Yes they make a shingles Vaccine. I had chicken pox when I was 27 and it was awful. Friend just had shingles and was miserable, so I thought I would get it since the doctor suggested it. I've meet my deductible this year so any medical appts, as long as they are in network are free.
