Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Of course I would prefer to get the gastritis fully healed before. It's encouraging that you got it healed within one year! My chronic gastritis started in January. In the beginning it was very very bad and I could not do anything because of the cramps and the bile coming up. In June I think it had been 90% healed. Unfortunately I started to eat lots of stuff I shouldn't because I felt safe adn wanted to gain weight ... no wonder gastritis became worse again. At the moment I would say I am at 70% and back on track again. So I really really hope that I can wait until it has healed! Trying to be patient and keep telling myself that it will pay off and in the end I will be able to enjoy a healthy pregnancy ...
