Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Hi I am new to this sort of thing and have been reading all the reviews and it is exactly wjatbu have been going through I got diagnosed with chronic gastritis in January an have been through he'll with it ever since. The doctor has put me on pantaprozole 40mg twice a day and peptac and ranitidine but nothing seems to be working and I can feel myself going into severe depression with it as I have lost so much weight and am sick most days with it. I have completely changed my diet to all healthy foods and done a lot of research of what foods are suitable to eat with gastritis. I am currently going through accupunture as I seen online it has a 97% success rate for curing gastritis and I am currently on my 4th session and still no improvement but reckons it will take 12 -20 sessions to fully heal my stomoch and will keep you updated on how it goes. I was wondering if anyone has tried anything that helps with the sickness would be very much appreciated. If anyone wants to know anything please feel free to ask.
