Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
If I don't burp, I get pain in my chest from the pressure from the gas.
Because I have been burping all day and my throat is sore
my burping started after breakfast
so hard to figure this out
I will consider Gas X
And of course use PepZin GI.
I was quite surprised to read about drinking pomegranate juice - that would destroy me! I can't drink any fruit juices - too acidic.
Also I once attempted to drink a carbonated drink - soda water I think. I thought I was going to die from the burping & pressure it caused!
I also have that problem of food sitting in my stomach & trapped gas pockets. I do usually find that an antacid or sodium bicarbonate helps shift it though. Or I sometimes take a probiotic.
Stupid gastritis.
Burping, all day now, less stomach burn,
But a general feel of discomfort, nausea and dizziness
