Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

I also read a full glass of water with 1/2 squeezed lemon first thing in the morning., it says that when the lemon juice is in the stomach it changes into alkaline. Only citric acid is bad for gastritis.
I take dexilant 60 mg every morning, but by 3pm my stomach starts bothering me, building with acid, I've tried the cottage cheese, yogurt, that is recommended nothing helps, so I take a Pepcid 20mg. It helps a little.o
