Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
If you are already losing weight, you may want to consider keeping up the protein. It can be one of the harder foods to digest. You can also look into juicing and PH balance for food. Some have had luck with this. Everyone is going to be a little different on what they can handle and what they can't. It does changes sometimes as you go through the healing process also. I also noticed no fruit or veggies in the mix. Carrots, steamed and with no skin, can add a lot of flavor to the meal and tend to be safe. Small slices of steamed or boiled celery was also a suggestion on doctor recommended to me. Peas I also personally handled well, as was watermelon (seedless). Bananas too.
For me personally, I also took a nutritional drink that help me keep the weight on. If you would like the name, please let me know.
Good luck and happy healing.
