Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Perhaps also look into stress management techniques to help cope with the life issues.
I hope things improve soon.
I was on anxiety meds for a bit as well. I am not taking them anymore, however I used to take them a few times a day to get me through.
I took Xanax or Ativan. Xanax worked better for me though.
I also have Ativan for situations that come up that are stressful, I can feel my stomach tighting up, Ativan works wonderful.
Lexapro also gives you a good nights sleep which our bodies need to recover.
I don't take PPIs Dexilant, anymore took it for 7 months, one day forgot to take and stomach felt better, I didn't have any acid rebound, my dr said if I didn't have rebound then my gastritis was healed.
I take one Pepcid a day before supper just to prevent acid, and Pepzin GI on a empty stomach. I do take Domperidone for my low gastric emptying stomach which has improved too.
Now If I had the equipment above I would probably be cured of gastritis ^_^. Cost 30,000$.
Try to find something else other than pills before jumping on them, that's what I did.

Bonus that the lyrics are all about gastritis... (I assume )
(...Sorry, please just throw me out with the trash... )
I also did relaxation exercises a few times a day and found these very beneficial both for my sense of wellbeing and pain levels.
