Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
i was also adviced to take aloe vera but in its natural form...make it myself supposedly works better as a coating agent....at this point i think sucralfate w/o ppi is the best lasts 4-6 hours. But if its working that good for you try to make it yourself . High quality slippery elm in powder/natural form works better than the caps for example.
Sucralfate also protects you from bile btw so does slippery elm. Try oatmeal at night and if you tolerate honey throw some honey in there too oatmeal will coat your stomach from all the acid for a few hours and give your stomach a rest, youll wake up much better the next day.
