Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
There are so many healthy foods out there that may not be the greatest for us (e.g. garlic, tomatoes). For eggs in particular, they are ok for me, and are one of my 'go to' foods when my stomach is acting up just since they are a simple food, do not require a lot of chewing, etc. I remember reading a post though, where someone foudn it hard on them. So everyone is different. Take it slow and give it a try.
