Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
Unfortunately my partner is not very sympathetic and tells me its all in my head until i made him read all the symptoms on the internet. I wouldnt touch anti-depressants thats why i am going down the route of counselling. Friends are very supportive.
I do hope your family will continue to support you. Hopefully there is light at the end of the very dark tunnel. Keep positive.

That's the one my friend who introduced me to Yoga (she is a yoga instructor) suggested to me and even though I can now do more difficult poses, I still love this one. Best wishes.
They say that stress effects the body, and I know myself that my stomach will tense or get butterflies, so it must have some effect. I personally don't believe that it causes gastritis (but doesn't help) and our pain / nausea certainly is real.
Unfortunately, stress is all around and we cannot avoid, but hopefully counseling will help you manage it.
Firstly I want to say how sad it is that you lost your son. I can't imagine going through that.
My friend has suffered with IBS and all kinds of stomach issues. She has tried everything. She does drink Aloe Vera, and slippery elm and all the different supplements that people recommend. She would have good days.Good weeks. Good months. But it always comes back. She had many tests and the dr said because she had a rough childhood, this is how her body handles stress. He best defense is learning how to deal with stress. That is the key to her stomach ailments.
A neighbor also has stomach issues and she uses an anti-depressent to help her.
So I do believe it can be caused by anxiety and stress and maybe the food doesn't matter much.
I would try the Aloe Vera, and probiotics and all the other supplements, one at a time, adding something new each week. Good luck to you.
