Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

For dizziness, ask your GP if it is okay to prescribe you a anti-nausea medication (I had one and continue to take it for my other GI disorder as needed) or if there is something OTC you can use. Also try to slow your movements, especially when turning or changing height positions. Another thing that worked well for me on occasion was to keep soda crackers next to the bed and to nibble one or two before getting up after sleeping.
Hope it helps and best wishes!
It could also be nothing to do with it and maybe be an inner ear infection, also could be sinus infection which will make you nauseaous and sickly. Any pains above eyes or tops of cheeks ? I do know ear infections can be a bugger to get rid of - they meds do work for this.
Try grating ginger into hot water and drink as a tea for the sicklies -
charcoal is another idea if you don't want to take meds.
Oooh don't we all have fun - not !! x x

No, I didn't have a fever but when I went to the doctor my white count was 13,000. Normal I think is under 10,000. So I did have an infection. The weird thing is sometimes I'll run a low-grade fever and not be all that sick but it sure can make you feel bad.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
