Definitely see a different GI doc. Having to wait for a follow up in April is unacceptable. I secured a GI doc appointment within a couple of days, and I have the flexibility to make follow ups when I want.
I hope you feel better soon! I know it's scary and frustrating. I remember the days before my health insurance was approved being unable to sleep because of chest pain and inability to swallow. But there is hope.
