I was about 168 when my weight did the same thing up and down a few lbs every couple days. I was actually increased in protien but I only get 60g tops a day with 2 shakes. He thought my body was done in Feb. here we are in april though and poof Im down 13lbs. Hang tough keep up the fantastic job! You will find the ballance again.
Personally, I think over 100 grams of protein a day is unnecessary unless you are a bodybuilder or have some other extreme stuff going on. I usually work-out 4-5 times a week...at least one of those is for 2 hours. I get between 70-90 grams of protein a day. I plan to try some body building this year and know I will have to up my protein for that, but you are still wanting to lose weight, so it seems a bit excessive to me.
BTW, I had so much muscle going into this thing (you need a lot of muscle to lug 300 lbs around), that I knew I had to lose muscle to get to my target weight. I didn't start seriously working out until I hit my goal. I did some stuff at home, but didn't actually work up a sweat. Once I hit goal, it became a matter of maintaining my weight as I toned and built muscle - changing my body composition, not what the scale says.
If what you were doing was working, why mess with it?
