Had my surgery on Tuesday and am doing pretty good. The gas pains are the worst part. I just cannot seem to get rid of the gas. Thank god for pain medicine! I had a goal to walk a mile in the hospital before I left and I did it. I was proud of myself! I've been walking everyday for 15 minutes. Liquid diet is not fun but will be on pured next week. Hope everyone is doing great! Happy new year and thank you everyone for all your kind words and support!

Congrats. glad you are doing well. You will be tired for a while so don't push too hard. I am 3 weeks post op and it took 2 days to recover from Christmas

Hey... so glad to hear your doing well ~ Happy New Year!
I am getting bored on liquids but I can tell if I even drink too fast my pouch does'nt like it so I am being very careful. come sit by me on the bench...I' ll scoot over, he he ; )

So glad you are doing well!! Walking does help move the gas through your system, so you are doing the right things. Just remember, the next couple months are the hardest. Glad to have you on the loser's bench!!
