Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. I just got in and had to say that this was a great afternoon.
Our park has a beautiful walking trail around the water which is called the Boardwalk. I would never have thought to do this before but I realize that I have really missed something.
It was just so beautiful.
Afterword we went to The Laughing Buda for the first time.
It is a hip little outdoor/indoor dining/drinking/coffee place that has amazing atmosphere and food.
The trees on the patio amidst morning glories, the hundred year old brick wall and white lights really set a lovely, eclectic outdoor atmosphere.
I had a couple spoons of chickpea salad with curry and alfalfa sprouts on baby spinach, a fried pickle spear and half an ancient grain chicken sandwhich with brie, djon and my own addition, banana ketchup for zing (Yum O)
Excercise, friends and healthy foods. Life has not ended.
I feel great.
It's great to be alive!
