Every day I am questioning myself if I am making the right choice, it's both exciting and terrifying. I just wanted you to know that your not alone and I am here if you need to talk. Best of luck to you
I went to the psychiatrist for clearance last week and he said that he wanted me to meet with another psych in the same practice. That was hard to swallow. I have been in therapy for several years working on issues in my life. I got to the point that I could work on my eating issues this past year. There was a lot to work on first lol.
Anyway, I thought about just trying for the millionth time to do this on my own. I can loose weight but I put it back on. I went to the new psych in the same practice today. He was wonderful. I strive to always be truthful so at the end I asked him if it was normal to be worried and afraid sometimes of the surgery. He said definitely yes. Many don't admit it but many of us do have concerns and fears.
Like Lcat4 said in her/his excellent post for newbies. Its up to us to learn all we can about this tool.
