I am sure you will continue on loosing...have you tried switching up your food options...that ALWAYS helped me when I felt I was not loosing enough... GOOD LUCK!!
Shelly is simply incredible and you will find recipes you truley enjoy! Actually today I am going to make some of her "bites" they are great with salad!
I still find things I can not tollerate and others I can...sometimes I think "HUH?" lol
The first week of any diet you lose massive amounts of water weight. You did that before surgery and your friend did it after.
Also, remember you never, ever compare pounds with another person. You compare % of total weight. So 5lbs for you may be the same % of your weight as 15 lbs for another person based on their weight.
Just follow your program and exercise, get your protein in and plenty of water and it will happen!
Good luck!
I was 230 when I had my surgery on June 4. I'm right around 150 and have been stuck there since sometime in November. Totally stuck. In fact, I've spent this week really trying to mix up my eating in an effort to get started losing again.
