Here I sat replying to posts not even realizing what day it is.
Hard to believe I was in India a year ago, under the knife and starting a fantastic journey that is the new me!
I'm down 130lbs since then and so fantastically healthy it's disgusting. I love life and my poor old wrinkled body more than ever. At 53, who in the heck would I be trying to impress with tight buns anyway. Hubby loves me the way I was and the way I am!
Just wanted to say thanks to all my ds family for the support you have given me over the past year and a half. You are the best people in the world!

I feel like a success story. It makes me excited for all the newbies who have had or is going to have surgery soon.
You have been an inspiration for me, thank you. I know I'm going to have saggin' skin, this is part of being 51 years old!!!! I don't wear revealing clothes now (except in the prvacy of my own home!). Hopefully in a years time my good health, increased energy and the increased years I have given to myself, my husband, my children and g'children will be far more important to me than sagging skin! The bottom line is, this is why I wanted this WLS, the health benefits and to have more energy to be part of the fun!

You should be very proud of yourself! Just think, you saw the problem, found a solution and are now benefiting for it.
Most people wouldn't have done it. That's why I think of us as people who don't complain about life, we change it.
I'm so glad you are happy and healthy and just think, you now have all these extra years to be happy that you might've not had before the surgery.
