We all know surgery is a tool for us to use. It is not a magic wand... We still have to work at making this a successful journey...
So. In your tool box, next to your surgery, what other tools do you have?
I'm still preop, but so far i have:
1. A way to track my food
2. My counselor (i have my first appt set up now)
3. My family who support me
4. My medical team and resources
5. My DS family (all you peeps!)
6. My exercise plan
7. My in person support group
8. Recipe resources such as eggface and WLS recipes

she cooked me the stuff i could only eat early on...made sure i took my vitamins etc..
other than that places like this with a bunch of good peeps helped tremendously!!!
