what questions should I ask my surgeon

I have a list but I know there are things I haven't thought of and will think of while driving home from my appt. what kind of things did you forget and wished you had asked?

How much does your specific surgeon routinely bypass?

Most are Bypassed between 75 and 200 centimeters. I am bypassed 125 centimeters
It probly doesn't really matter in the long and short of it all but it was an interesting piece of info I wanted!

took me a couple of times to get that. Ha funny.:) not to bright this early in the morning. I would ask for your post op instructions in writing this includes how and what to eat and what to do. For some reason we all become so overwhelmed with the info that when we get home and have to really work this we forget. I kept mine right on the cabinet. When you re-read some of the blogs here that may give you some other ideas. I am a bit anal about rules and details so I always went with pen and paper and questions. Asking the questions and doing EXACTLY what they tell you is going to be the key to your Success. I feel that is what helped me lose the 126lbs in a year. and it has stayed off to date. Stay stong stay positive and you'll do great. Hugs
