Last night I had a two part dream the first part I was dealing with this outlandish pain in my chest that kept grabbing me and bringing me to my knees and i was trying to tell everyone in the dream that I was having a heart attack but no one would take me serious and were dragging their feet getting me to the hospital for what appeared to be hours and I was really suffering. By the time I got to the hospital the doctor confirmed that it was indeed a heart attack - and admitted me for further observation and I woke myself out of the dream crying.

I told the doctor that I periodically have this rolling pain in my chest similar to a charlie horse which is why he ordered the additional ego and nuclear test. So, the only thing i can equate this dream to is the fact that i have these exams coming up on Tuesday and Wednesday that I am apprehensive about them.

Part 2 of the dream was me making wild passionate love to someone other than my husband and enjoying it - The devil is a liar and I rebuke that mess in the name of Jesus.

What in the world is going on with these insane dreams? Is this happening to anyone else pre or post op? I didn't fall back to sleep right away because I didn't want to dream anymore, then I prayed and dozed back off. OMG too weird for words.

LOL...well, if it helps I had nightmares and funmares too mostly post op and mostly nightmares nothing about the surgery just random stuff, the doc said it was anxiety messing with me. I dont know if your on an antidepressant or anxiety meds but you might want to talk with your doc. I was having a nightmare everytime I slept after surgery, I am almost 2 weeks post op and they have stopped now. So, I would chalk it up to nerves lol

I wrote about having bad dreams and vivid nightmares for about a week straight and then they just went away. Make sure you're not eating late at night.

Same here, lasted about two weeks post op. But I was living in a nightmare. Dealing with an old friend who I trusted ( he found me again) who was a bible thumping fanatic. Serious old testament preaching. So when I got rid of him the nightmares seized to exist. It was anxiety. Do chat with your doc.

I am pre-op and have my psych eval tomorrow (the only hoop through which I am obligated to jump for insurance). i have been having VERY weird dreams on and off for a couple of weeks. some nightmares, some just supremely odd scenarios. I have awakened several mornings to evidence of crying in my sleep. I prefer to think that it is simply anxiety and possibly my brain working out some old baggage for me as I sleep while I'm on my way to the new me.

Yes in fact i did eat something late last night before laying down which is an old habit that crept back due to anxiety - i guess i genuinely flipped when i realized how close i am to having the surgery. I went straight into panic mode now i've just got to get a handle back on it and i'm sure i will be okay. Not even the exercising is working out for me today my heart is racing a mile a minute - i guess i am still subconsciously afraid of that dream. Going to try it again and hope for victory this time - I will not be defeated.

I think it's a combo of stress and anxiety...I had a couple wild dreams these last few nights myself...1 was it was the day of my wedding and I realized we had forgotten to get our marriage license and the courthouse was closed...the next one I was kissing someone other than my fiancee...I too have rebuked and cast down this vain imagination...it is NOT me! that little booger likes to mess with us if we can let him...NO MORE!!

Thanks Bellzee and everyone for letting me know that its not just me with these wild dreams. Especially this thing with another man - I love my hubby far to much to even entertain such nonsense even in a dream. The last two nights have been much better - no weirdness. Just sleep.

I read wls for dummies before bed last light made some key notes that I need - created my shopping list of things i have to purchase and it gave me sense of peace. So my doctors appointments and shopping will be my focus for the next couple of days.

I am excited for you and let us know the minute you can how your surgery went. I'll be waiting with baited breath. Hugz babygirl!!!!
