Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. If you are considering gastric bypass or have had it, join the community where we share our experiences and find support.

It's an addiction right now
Weigh every morning, if I poop, weigh again, TMI??
Anyone else? I can't be alone on this!!
Maybe a few more months and I can believe and relax
a little bitty bit of TMI....but made me chuckle though
;-)
I weigh in and take body measurements every Monday morning. On the Mondays the scale doesn't move, I ignore it, walk to my closet and put on those smaller sized clothing and keep walking....
I weigh on the 17th of the month because I had surgery on January 17th, and the 1st because that's about 2 weeks later and easy to remember.
Makes life less stressful for me.
"you are more important than this number!"
I use to weigh every day... Some days many times! Not only did i poop n pee first, i'd take off any jewlery, expel any pending gas and hold my boobs up! (How bout that for TMI!) Lol! Or at least it seemed so!
I knew i needed a new plan of action or i'd be the most shameless scale whore alive after surgery... So, my hubby is hiding the scale for me this weekend. I am ONLY going to weigh once a month at NUT appts. And after surgery, i will figure out a managable timetable. Like twice a month, possibly once a week at first....
