Gastric Bypass Surgery Support Group
Gastric bypass (GBP) is any of a group of similar operative procedures used to treat morbid obesity, a condition which arises from severe accumulation of excess weight in the form of fatty tissue, and the health problems ("co-morbidities") which result. I use this in the four citrus flavors. Read labels carefully as some of their products do have sugar.
Artificial sweeteners change the way other foods tastethey screw with our sense of "sweet." They have also been linked to carb cravings and a change in the way our bodies handle insulin. I avoid them as much as I can.
You can naturally infuse water simply by sticking stuff in it and letting it sit for awhile - strawberries, apples, mint, oranges, etc can all flavor water. Personally, I stick to straight water (although I am a water snob and only drink Dasani).
