LOL! Ok... so I head out for my 3rd walk of the day (been getting in 6 short, just under 10 min walks a day).... This most recent one is the first one I didn't have a partner for. Today it was my son (how nice),,,,
But because I am on my own, I grab my headphones and plug in an upbeat (michael franti) song.... I start walking to the beat (which I like to do cause it gets me moving faster) and after about 6 steps my body said NO WAY!!
Lesson learned... work my way up to fast beat songs.... my body is smart and knows when its too much!
So I plugged in a much slower song and off I went.
My point, is we need to remember to listen to our bodies!! And my body said "you had surgery 5 days ago and you SHOULD NOT walk that fast!" LOL!
FYI~ At mid-day I have in half my protein and fluids and half my walks! :) :) Oh, and I am already bored and stir crazy! I am soooo use to being soooo busy!
I am making a list of things to do... study for GRE, fill out grad school aps.... paint (I paint watercolors), finish a rug I started a zillion yrs ago... etc etc.
I know if its starting this early, I best have a plan or I will get myself into serious trouble! LOL! :) :)

I have until Sept 30th! Holy Cow!!! :) :) Way too much free time for me :) I do volunteer at SASS (Sexual Assault Survivor Services) so once I get back to doing that it won't be so bad.... But I think I'll go for more than one day a week :)
Joy.... Too funny! Boss away lady! :) :) (if you were, I didn't even notice!) And yeah, I need to hear it anyways... cause this superwoman (ha ha! whatever!) has to have her cape taken away once in awhile and be grounded...

And Linda, yeah, I cannot think of the name of it, but I think its the one I just downloaded to my MP3 from youtube (love the little youtube converter page!).
We went and saw him last summer in Bend Oregon when he was here... It was the best concert I'd been too in a long time!! I'll have to change my facebook big pic just for the MF fans! :)
My Pilates instructor I use to have over in Bend got me hooked! We use to bounce around on the physio ball to michael franti! I fell in love right away! :) :)
